Home Education Insights from 30 Years of Experience

Updated: Sep 28, 2021

Hello, Bruce and Cindy here to share a little insight into our 30+ years of home educating.

We firmly believe that nurturing our children’s autonomy yields incredible results naturally. Most of our children eventually got their GED’s and eight attended college. Most importantly, all of them love to learn. They haven't stopped. They are critical, kind and active members of their communities. We believe home education is a crucial aspect in developing the leaders of tomorrow.

We’ve been navigating the legalities and logistics of homeschooling in several US states for the past 30 years. We incorporated as a private school in Oregon; i.e. The Learning Network. This turned out to be an invaluable resource for our community. Parents wanting to homeschool their children without pressure from the state were able to enroll their kids in The Learning Network, getting support mentally, spiritually, physically, and legally.

The world of home education has changed a great deal over the past 30 years. Homeschooling is more commonplace in the US now, and given our current situation, it’s a great opportunity to explore. We continue to help parents navigate home education, especially during these trying times. From our home base we offer mindset guidance, support, and digital resources to parents of school aged children. We believe homeschooling provides deep familial connection and caring, that gives our children the opportunity to fulfill their true potential.

Feel free to reach out. We’re all in this together.
